The tenant in the property had been having problems with this chimney for over a year with 3 other contactors trying to repair the water leak.

We stripped off the roof back to the rafters and fitted felt and new battens re-laying the original clay tiles, we then pointed the chimney but found the top section was lose so removed the lose bricks and re-laid them. Building up the top section and then fitting new vented cowls to the flues enabling the venting of the flues to stop damp issues. Having now had snow and heavy rain it has been tested and all the bedrooms damp walls have been re-decorated.
